From its humble beginnings in 2000 with fewer than 500 riders, Bikes Blues and Barbeque is now the largest motorcycle charity rally in the country, bringing in thousands to the Northwest Arkansas area alone. By choosing this location as a location, Bikes Blues and Barbeque has exponentially grown NWA’s economy and helped local businesses. This “Rally with a Purpose” is a great opportunity to explore the beauty of the Ozarks while experiencing live entertainment paired with local restaurants and culture.
What is a motorcycle charity rally without the satisfaction of great food? With the growth of Bikes Blues and Barbeque, tourism has flourished and so have the food options available to those partaking in the festivities. Try the local food trucks in the NWA area and BBBBQ vendors along Dickson Street and up Block Street all the way to the Square. Fayetteville is not the only location for food and destinations for the weekend. Surrounding areas such as Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville and more provide a local experience for food with new locations to try.
Branch out from Dickson Street and the hub of the entertainment to escape, clear your head and ride. Discover places to ride throughout the NWA area and explore the back roads of the Ozarks like the Pig Trail along Highway 23 or Devil’s Den State Park. Going north along the Ozark Mountains, visit Rogers, Arkansas’ Pig Trail Harley-Davidson, the largest Harley-Davidson® dealer in the state. To explore a different side of NWA, head from Fayetteville to Eureka Springs to ride, explore and enjoy local restaurants and culture.
Take advantage of the weekend to experience all NWA has to offer in fresh and local food and authentic entertainment for a naturally beautiful weekend experience.
Your first visit to the area does not have to be your last.
